Probably one of the most exciting opportunities for any production team is launching a new program. This week, thanks to the excellent work of a future son in law, Joshua Buchholtz, we have a new internet television broadcast. Our non profit has a for profit production partner, GR PRODUCTIONS based on The Golden Rule. This team of film veterans come together to share the vision for impacting culture with film. Along with this partnership, is books2film.net an exciting advisory services group dedicated to finding new stories.
FILMMAKERS ROUNDTABLE was launched this past Friday at noon on YOUTUBE and the FACEBOOK LIVE channel. You can see the presentation at books2film.net/show and watch each week as we share the basics of all filmmaking to the masses. Would you pray for this special series as we speak to content creators, authors and future filmmakers at every level. There will be special guests on the weekly television show joining me once each month and every week you can watch as we share insights into the film industry. For so many reasons, giving back is such an essential part of being in the film industry. It's not what you take, but what you can give to help others is the "real secret sauce" of multiplication. We do want you to pray for us in this new program, big time. We serve on the Film Advisory Board of Lipscomb University and this is a wonderful honor. With team members like Rich Peluso from SONY, Barry Landis formerly from Warner Brothers, Karen Kingsbury award winning author, Amy Grant, Grammy Award Winning singer, Steve Taylor, CCM legend and so many more, we love helping others. Teaching at Lipscomb to our graduate students is a rare honor and we are soliciting new students all the time. This is what it means to our hearts at the FILMMAKERS ROUNDTABLE to give back and do what we can to impact culture. GR PRODUCTIONS continues to find new Executive Producers to get behind film projects and your prayers are needed now more than ever. If you have an interest in wanting to know more about how your book can be made into a film, there are helpful hints on our weekly program so be sure and watch. Also, stay tuned for some surprise guests you will totally enjoy seeing. May God bless you and hope you enjoy the show, FILMMAKERS ROUNDTABLE at books2film.net/show. Love you all, Kevin

It's the time of Easter and there is not a more important holiday we can celebrate. It's not about the bunnies or the tradition of holidays created by mythologies. To those of us who believe in Jesus Christ, this is the most sacred time of the year as we remember his death, burial and resurrection. Our season for Easter is sacred and beautiful.
Whether we are coaching in basketball, spending time in film festivals or speaking with authors or content creators, we believe in God and never apologize for our faith. We also honor people of other faiths, because this is the right thing to do. We believe you and your family might enjoy going to your church or synagogue this season to reflect and renew your own life's commitments. I am so thankful to have had a mother and father who loved us enough to take us to places where our faith could grow. They never pushed our faith on us, but allowed us to find our own way. Isn't this what faith should be about? We need to dialogue, we need to listen, not just preach and we have the responsibility to love ALL people. This spring take some time to look around you, invest time in helping others and yes, go to church and see if God speaks to you. Be willing to listen, to learn and to think outside of the box. The most important decision you will ever make in our opinion, would be to follow God. While I seldom blog or write about this, I want you to know that sharing Jesus is not a thing, but everything. We truly cannot imagine life without our faith and we believe more and more that He is the answer to our problems and offers eternal life through Him. Have a wonderful Easter and for all our friends who do share the same faith we say, "He is risen, and He is risen indeed!" Love you all, Coach KMAC |
