Internet Fraud is a growing problem with all companies who provide services to others. With cyber attacks growing, there are identified groups who are intending to harm good people, but stealing money from innocent victims. Fortunately, we have "intelligence sources" which help us "filter" these horrible people, but not everyone can avoid getting hurt.
I wanted to personally apologize to anyone who has sent money to customs, overseas or were "fraudulent" in misrepresenting the truth. Veritas is the latin word for truth and it is a favorite word of mine. It's essential before you "ever" send money to anyone, you should verify the source, double check references and make sure the people you are dealing with are "real". Google helps people find out more about production especially. The internet is a horrible place and a safe place if you have support, take your time to be precise and ferret out the imposters early. Please always feel free to contact [email protected] to verify everything before you engage anyone professionally. The reason this is shared, is because we have been under "cyber attacks" and we want to protect our authors, writers and content creators. Our partners have been under the same kinds of "cyber attacks" from professional hackers seeking to do harm. When you are in a service industry, you do everything you can to protect people, this is our pledge. Identified predators are manipulating pictures, creating false images, communications and "selling wares" which are wrongful. They are using "causes" like orphanages which are not being built, or nations dear to our heart like Africa, China and the Middle East to prey on people of faith. Yes, the problems are intensifying too. A beautiful lady from New Jersey this week had the courage to contact our offices to verify sources and we are forever grateful. I am so thankful in our "community" we find heroes who are advocates and I especially want to thank each one of you when you help others who may be in danger. This is Memorial Day coming up and there is not a time when I am more reflective of our soldiers who have paid the ultimate price to defend our freedoms. May God bless their families and our nation. Freedom is never free and we deeply thank those who have served our country with their lives and are still serving. May God Bless America, Coach KMAC

So what does it mean to be a VERY IMPORTANT PERSON (VIP) or a SPECIAL GUEST on an event, a show or a special promotions? Many people equate VIP as the "RED CARPET" type folks and there are a number of red carpet events in the film industry. In fact, almost every event created related to motion picture has a VIP experience surrounding the event.
While it is always an honor to be considered a VIP or be asked to go on the red carpet, there is another element that has always disturbed me. What about honoring those who never get any credit? In filmmaking there are hundreds of individuals, chair heads, specialists and runners who play such a key role in the future of the film, but they are often left out of the party, the red carpet or the "highly photographed" acclaim. What about all those heroes who, if we did not have them close, would never have been "mentioned". The nuts and bolts in the manufacturing process of movies are key. When you are part of a team, you learn to do things differently. You interact with your team members and function as a unit. This means near the outset, at the beginning when you begin your cinematic journey if you are an author, you are heralded. Our team stays around, but a real key to success is patience on every author's part, because it can be a long and lonely road "feeling". When you lose patience, you lose a very important element in understanding film, your role and how your attitude impacts the future. PASSION OF THE CHRIST took twelve years to make into a film, and Mel Gibson still was a star in Hollywood. He was a filmmaker who was having a hard time finding capital and yet he did not give up, but stayed the course and changed cinematic history while investing his own money sacrificially. One can never under estimate the long suffering of William Paul Young working hard selling books out of his garage waiting for the chance for his book to be made into a film. The Shack was a huge success as a result. Authors get invited to "red carpet" events, because they are a special guest and a VIP. Their story is critical to the success of the picture. We are all equal, but some will have favor and content creators are the "darlings" of the industry. You are considered a VIP and a special guest because of the hard work you provide in assembling a story which impacts others. Welcome to the party and hold on to your hat. Sometimes making a film is like watching paint dry, it takes years and long-suffering, remember this. Personally, I thank the Lord He sees each and every person as a VIP because this is a value we believe is a "game changer". Never give up and know how important you are to the entire creative process. Love you all, Coach KMAC |
