The TABLE is announcing the development of a full set of writing and film courses for the professional cinematic community. Dr. Kevin McAfee will be sharing a brand new teaching series of important lessons for filmmakers based on his forty four years of experience. From his early days at Disney, he will be giving lectures you will not want to miss out on. The courses will be downloadable as part of a new curriculum series entitled, WHAT THEY DIDN"T TEACH YOU AT FILM SCHOOL.
Subjects will include, but not be limited to, the following: STORY & DEVELOPMENT CREATIVE PLANNING WITH CHAIN OF TITLE DOCUMENTARY FILMMAKING WITH EMOTIONAL CADENCE FEATURE FILM DEVELOPMENT WORKING WITH LEGAL & IP PROFESSIONALS BUSINESS PLANNING PRODUCTION PLANNING DISTRIBUTION COMPLEXITIES FILM FRANCHISE DEVELOPMENT PRINTS & ADVERTISING DISRUPTION & INNOVATION WRONG ECONOMIC MODELS & FILM LIES In 2021 there will be a new set of filmmaking courses. You will also be to engage Dr. McAfee in mentoring and working directly with burgeoning film students and newcomers to the entire industry. WHAT THEY DIDN"T TEACH YOU AT FILM SCHOOL will be a a series of lectures focusing on subjects over 44 years of filmmaking, working at Disney, Sony, Universal and Warner Brothers. This is going to be a new "must watch" curriculum for all those who want to be involved in the film industry and make an impact on culture using the visual language.
